The Ute believe Skinwalker Ranch, named for those skinwalkers, is right in the path of the monsters and largely avoid going to the ranch or entering its territory. Since that time, the land and Ute tribe been haunted by what they call "skinwalkers," malevolent, shapeshifting witches of Navajo lore, who, in the Uinta Basin, take the form of giant wolves and other creatures. The Ute have been convinced ever since the Navajo had laid a curse on the land in retaliation for their betrayal. The Ute eventually moved to the reservation in the Uinta Basin. With the help of the Ute and other tribes, the occupation was successful the Navajo surrendered and were forced to march to a reservation in Fort Sumner. The relationship between the two tribes deteriorated completely during the Civil War when the Ute betrayed the Navajo by allying with Kit Carson, a U.S. They'd had an uneasy relationship for years, sometimes allying with each other, sometimes conducting raiding parties on each other and taking slaves. Hundreds of years ago, the Ute and Navajo were the two major tribes that populated the land. I've flown my Skinwalker SWR-037 three times now, and I have thoroughly enjoyed all 3 flights, and will enjoy all the future flights I do with it.The Uinta Basin, where Skinwalker Ranch is located, covers a large area in northwest Utah. Depending on if you build it stock which would work just fine or if add fiberglass or carbon fiber, you're looking at like a 5,000-6,500 foot flight on a baby M like the M1297, and that'll stay within the waiver at a lot of fields that don't have excessively high waivers. □ You want to do your 元 with this thing? Easy. If you want a challenge, wrap it in carbon fiber and it'll probably take anything you can fit up the back. It's also not super heavy, so in the 7.6" airframe there is a TON of room for your recovery gear, making it easy to fly too. Built properly, it's strong enough to take some serious punishment, and the quality of the kit is fantastic making it an easy build.
